Exchange and Returns Policy

 

(Any exchange or return that you wish to make needs to be logged and booked within 30 days of receiving your parcel)

 

RETURNS:

If an item is to be returned you need to have all the original packing, labels, all items must be clean, unworn, unwashed and unused.

Regarding returns, you will be credited with the ZAR amount of the returned item in the form of an Old School voucher. (Please note: No returns/credit on the shipping costs).

 

EXCHANGES:

In short: We will arrange a courier to pick up the jersey AND resend it with the updated size for a fee of R100.

We would love to do this for free in the future, but as a local small business, it is not feasible yet as we are absorbing half the cost from the couriers already.

All discounted items, sale or Black Friday items can only be exchanged for another size or a gift card.

Please note, we cannot guarantee the exchange for stock items since certain sizes might be out of stock and not made anymore. 

 

 

PRODUCT REPLACEMENT AND REFUNDS:

Please note that in line with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, only if you have been provided with an incorrect or defective product, will we offer a cash refund.

Should this be the case- please reach out to support@oldschool.co.za to arrange either an exchange (free of charge), Old School refund voucher, or cash refund.

We are a young company- and would appreciate your support by opting for either an exchange or Old School Voucher.

We do not provide cash/ credit card reimbursement on purely a ‘change of mind’ decision, and make this information available at checkout and on our FAQ’s in line with the CPA.

 

Please note that:

Should Old School supply the incorrect product or if the product you received is defective, Old School shall exchange the product for a new one, provided that the damaged or incorrect unit is returned in its original packaging with all the tags and extras attached as received.

The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return/exchange/refund under this section: 

  • Faults resulting from normal wear and tear.
  • Damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product.
  • Damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product.
  • Damage arising from unauthorised alterations to the product.
  • Where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.

Please note, the Old School Team will first examine the item by means of either image or physical examination. Old School reserves the right to not grant an exchange or refund if deemed that the fault is not a factory fault.

 

EXCHANGES and RETURNS PROCESS:

For a couriered return/exchange, a fee of R100 applies. Please visit the following link to make payment: https://oldschool.co.za/products/returns.

Once payment has been processed you will receive a unique payment code and an email with further instructions to complete the return/exchange process (please wait 10-20 min for the email). Once items have been received and has satisfied our quality check, we will provide you with a store credit voucher with the same value. That way you can select the particular item you are looking for or another item.

Please be aware that we are experiencing a huge influx as a small business, and we are trying to get to all customers as soon as possible, but please be aware that this entire process can take up to two to three weeks to complete.

You could exchange your item at one of our stores, to have your product as soon possible :) We are excited to share the convenient locations of our four shops with you: 

Shop 1: The Village: 16th Street, Hazelwood, Pretoria, in Aromas parking lot
in a container (wed - fri: 9-6) (sat: 9-5) (sun: 9-1)
Shop 2: Garden Route Mall: Confluence N2 Highway & Knysna Road George. Outside entrance 4 (Woolworths entrance) in a container (mon - fri: 9 -6) (sat: 9-5) (sun: 9 -3)
Shop 3: Somerset West: 11 Ou Paardevlei Road Fish Eagle Park Western Cape. (9 am - 3 pm, Monday - Friday.)
Please be aware you will need to take your receipt or order number to be able to do the exchange. Please note this is only while stock lasts. Occasionally these times could slightly change. Feel free to visit us at either of these locations for an in-person shopping experience. Our team will be delighted to assist you and provide you with the best service.

 

Important note:

We do not offer cash refunds. Therefore- we kindly ask that you refrain from buying a new item to replace the item being returned. Please wait until we have received your item, quality checked it, and have provided you with store credit to purchase your desired item.

We do not take responsibility should you choose to not follow this process - and will only be able to provide you with store credit.
